Noah's Place is our Fairtrade Cafe and is open every weekday morning from 10.30-12 noon for light refreshment and on Tuesday stays open until 2 pm for homemade lunches.  Every Saturday morning from 10.30 am - 12 noon Fairtrade goods are on sale in Noah's  Place.

FAIRTRADE FORTNIGHT 2012 - 27th February-11th March

The theme this year is 'TAKE A STEP' for Fairtrade - and we hope you will take a step into Noah's Place our Fairtrade Cafe, Westgate, Cowbridge on Saturday 3rd March!   Fairtrade goods will be on sale and the usual delicious Fairtrade coffee, tea or hot chocolate, cakes will be served.

Every 8 seconds a child dies of hunger while a short journey away 3 people control more wealth than the 600 million who live in the world's poorest countries.    World poverty is sustained not by chance or nature, but by a combination of factors, injustice in global trade, the huge burden of debt,  and insufficient and ineffective aid.

If we are serious about having a world free from poverty, then poor countries must be given the chance to work their own way out it,  by the injustices in global trade being rebalanced.

No individual can change the world but when we join together our acts of kindness can change the mood of a nation.   Please support and buy Fairtrade whenever you can.
