CHURCH ACTIVITIES

 

SERVICES AND MEETINGS

Sunday -

10.30 am -  Morning Worship with Junior Church

6 pm - Evening Worship

Coffee and tea is served in the Schoolroom after morning worship.

Holy Communion is held on the first Sunday morning and the third Sunday evening of each month.

Tuesday - 7.30 pm - Meeting for prayer, Bible study and discussion at Noah's Place.

NOAH'S PLACE CAFE is open on
Tuesday & Wednesday 11 am-2 pm - Morning Coffee & Light Lunches.    Thursday and Saturday - 10.30 am-12 noon - Morning Coffee in our Fairtrade Cafe.   
[Saturday morning is a joint project and hosted by members of Cowbridge United Free Church, Holy Cross and St. Cadoc's churches - all members of Churches Together in Cowbridge - and the proceeds go to Christian Aid.]
FAIRTRADE goods are on sale every Saturday morning.

Wednesday - 12 noon - Prayer and Share, Noah's Place.    Everyone welcome - the aim is to focus on local and wider issues as they arise, please bring along anything you think will be of interest.

Thursday - Craft afternoon in season - see DIARY.

Thursday - 8.15 pm - Bible Study    Contact Keith and Marilyn beforehand on 792677.

Friday - 12 noon - 2 pm -  ZOO TIME!  Lunch Club - Calling all babies and pre-school children!! - Bring a grown-up friend or parent to the hall at UFC - £3-50 per adult and child.

SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP

At Sunday morning worship there is usually a congregation of approx. 60 people, including Junior Church.  The children and  young people leave for their groups during the second hymn and return later in the service to share their activites with the congregation.     

SUNDAY EVENING WORSHIP

The evening congregation averages 20 worshippers and follows a more meditative style of worship.

JUNIOR CHURCH

Our Junior Church is a lively and friendly place to be on a Sunday morning!   All ages are welcome to come and enjoy learning of the love of Jesus with Bible stories, drama, craftwork and music.   The Junior Church is held in the schoolroom adjoining the church.

CRAFT GROUP

The Craft Group meets twice monthly on a Thursday afternoon.   Using various craft techniques this group produces a  beautiful selection of greetings cards, bookmarks, Xmas decorations, cushion covers, to name only a few!   These are usually sold at our annual Church Fayre.

You are invited to join this creative group!

BIBLE STUDY GROUPS

Tuesday evening - A small number of people gather together in fellowship to remember and pray for the sick, lonely, bereaved, young and old, followed by Bible study.   All welcome.

Thursday evening - This group enjoys excellent fellowship and spiritual development through discussion, Bible study and music.   This is a supportive and 'open' group and all are welcome.
