PRAYERS - MEDITATIONS

 

 

God is with you when the way is dark and life seems cold.
God is with you when the body is weak and you feel old.
God is with you when doubts arise and fears descend.
God is with you forever, my friend.

 

Saint Theresa's Prayer

May today there be peace within.

May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.

May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.

May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you.

May you be content knowing you are a child of God.   Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love.

We pray for all those treated as modern-day slaves across the world, especially the innocent children -

We pray again for the Middle East and the Holy Land, Africa and especially Zimbabwe and the violence and injustice there and all areas of conflict in your world.   We remember the continuing struggles in Burma and China to recover from natural disaster - Lord, hear our prayers.  

Lord, you offer freedom to all people.    Heal those who are victims of crime.  Help us to forgive one another, to act justly, love mercy and walk humbly together with Christ, now and every day.    Amen.

Let your actions be the fulfillment of God's Love.
